Duration: 5h - 1:30h STOP at l'Estartit.
This time we will sail south across the bay of Roses. In the background, you will be able to make out the imposing Montgrí massif that resembles the figure of a sleeping bishop, stretched out on the land and with the tips of his toes seeming to want to touch the waters of the Mediterranean. We will sail in front of the Montgó cove and we will see the 'Foradada' cave, which means 'pierced' in Catalan, and with a bit of luck we will be able to see a small boat crossing it.
We will then head towards the Natural Marine Park of the Medes Islands, once home to pirates, where you can go down to the catamaran's underwater viewing rooms to see the wild seabed. Then we will head to the port of El Estartit where you can go down to visit the village for 1:30h, where the weekly market takes place on Thursdays.
On the way back to Roses we will pass again the seafront of the Costa del Montgrí and now, from the angle of view after passing the cape of the castle, which is where the perforated rock is, we will be able to see the characteristic salt cave on the left hand side.
Then we will sail in front of l'Escala, and enter the waters of the Gulf of Roses passing in front of the Greek port of Sant Martin d'Empuries, Sant Pere Pescador, the beach of Empuriabrava, the beach of la Robina and finally we will reach Santa Margarita and Roses.
Normally it is an exclusive on Thursdays in July and August, but exceptionally this year we also have some departures scheduled in June, find them in the calendar and join us on this exciting trip.
Don't forget that with your ticket to Illes Medes & Estartit you can get a special discount for your next trip.
In our environmental struggle we participate in the sustainable tourism programme and we want to do our bit by asking you not to throw waste overboard or leave waste on the beach, take a bag with you and recycle the waste later on your return to Roses.
